Because there are very few veterans of World War II left, let that remind us that life is fragile. Life is to be respected and cherished because it is a gift of God.
The Bible teaches that Jesus remains “the same yesterday, today, and forever.” It also teaches that all things are in God’s hands, that He has a plan for each person who has ever lived.
Here’s my thought. I’ve changed. You’ve changed. The culture has changed. Yes, even the world has changed.
But God has not changed.
This is basic to the Christian faith: that what is believed about Jesus Christ is passed on to others, to teach and confess it, especially to children.
We sin against God. In repentance we say, “I’m sorry.” And God says to us, “I forgive you.” Such powerful words!
A warrior-poet is a man who not only fights for what is right and willing to give his very life for good, but also is not afraid of tenderness
